I've not contributed to the forums much in a while since it's gotten a lot busier but this is one thing I would really really like to see implemented if possible. I think an atmospheric mist/fog (mentioned earlier) is really key for some of the eerie areas that I'd want to create.
The current smoke and mist effects look great but not quite what I'd be looking for to do something sort of like the Zombie walkthroughs at Alton Towers' Scarefest (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fyum672qJsQ shows the sort of fog that I want) where guests walk through an area of theming. For me I know that the addition of that foggy haze really added to the atmosphere of the area and making things like this would be awesome.
The current effects come out too fast for this (which is great for some uses, I'm not trying to put down what they've done at all I think it's great just I'd love to see this added too) and don't linger like the ones I'm thinking of, that would cover a wider area and just keep a constant haze, maybe pumping some more out each 30 seconds or something when it slowly fades out. I understand that it would possibly be a little harder for the devs to make but if it just pumped it out into an area about 2m in every direction I can't see it being much harder than what they have already (but honestly I know nothing really so I may be totally wrong!).
Now this would be really cool too but probably make it a lot more challenging to make - but in real life if this fog was there then the coloured spotlights would also light it up eerily (like the red light briefly seen in the video of the zombie zone) which would be a lovely feature but not something crucial.
Thanks to the devs for making such a great game so far and for reading this! [happy]
