PAs and small ships...

For smaller ships, the long range and focused mods work wonders. It's all about the increased projectile speed. I say go focused. There's a heat penalty in the stats, but I had a god roll that got me max velocity and NEGATIVE 20 something thermal load on a class 2 PA. That takes care of the hardware.

Practice and skill make up for the rest. Know when to shoot. Save those beautiful blue balls for when the little guy tries to face tank or "stalls out" on a turn. Once again, having a faster projectile opens up a lot of possibilities here.
