I wish to suggest that in your next pass over Mission Board and Passenger Lounge that Frontier need to expand beyond the specific station your docked at and provide us some filters on the results.
The agents we deal with belong to corperation that can expand multiple stations if not systems.
Would they not have access to all available missions their corporations are hiring for?
What I would suggest is that the mission boards be provided 2 filters.
One for how far to search mission be that "Station / System / Region" and the other for Mission Type "Courier / Assassination / Delivery"
For instance If I'm in a station which is selling a surplus of some item, would not the agent at that station have a list of his colleagues needing delivery of that item?
You will always need to eventually travel to the specific station giving that mission, be that to pick up a data package, or hand in the bounty so it won't cut out the travel. But what it will allow is a more expansive range of stations for players to fly to for mission running, not the one you happen to have picked when you decided to start levelling those corps.
The passenger board I would treat the same way.
Provide a search filter for passengers based on location again, "Station / System / Region" and another filter for destination by System or Region.
For instance, soon I plan to head over to Colonia, Could I not do a search and book passengers for my various cabins all wanting to head to that area, being either the specific station or stars in vacinity of that station.
Help us use the passenger missions to further promote expeditions to far off places, or interesting tourist locations.
Given that all missions are random generations for each player, then expanded search area just should provide an increased output and be filter down to target criteria.
I get that the missions themselves might need to be altered slightly in that an additional step will be needed to add pick up destination.
The limitation is that Agents will only have access to missions for that particular corp.
But perhaps later there might be a gameplay element where pilots can help 2 corps partner up for access to additional missions/passengers and also so influence ranking is also shared dependant on partnership status.
