Passenger Happiness

Is there any way to increase happiness of passengers once they're annoyed?

I took a 66,000ly mission (round trip) via Jaques and accidentally got a 150cr parking fine at the station. Passengers reacted as if I'd murdered someone.
I know that it says they don't like crime but; 150cr? they are over reacting; especially for a 66kly trip!
 
I had one eject in the middle of a dog fight the other day. I mean - seriously - you're being shot at by someone who wants to KILL YOU. I'm charging the FSD and ready to make off any second, the enemy is now far away and can't possibly take me before I jump....

WHOOOOOSH - she bloody ejects. And what the HELL do you think is going to happen now, love? Because that Pirate ship has a Cargo scoop....

Well look on the bright side. That is one less pompous brat in the galaxy and further proves the fact that smarter people survive.

I don't think so.....and that is one thing I want to see changed soon. Passenger traits could be so much more meaningful IMHO, and in so doing make the whole satisfaction thing more proactive. If you have a secretive passenger, then evading a scan should boost their satisfaction. If you have a laid back passenger, then tending to linger in systems and/or taking a round-about trip to their destination could boost satisfaction too.

I'd also love to see more options for *positive* satisfaction-beyond Happy-with each additional level (say Very Happy, Delighted and Ecstatic) increasing your final payout for the mission (and/or your Rep boost).
 
Make the passengers like tamagotchi? haha
For <30ly missions it doesn't make sense;
For the 300-500ly Tourist missions it makes a little sense
For +40hour long hauls, it's pretty essential.
