Huh. Looks like the "bad word filter" took out the word that sounds like "bang" but begins with a "w".

In any case I have always loved the idea of "Silent Running" (and making a ship for such) but was told it does not work with NPC's? A.k.a. Station security?

It does, people either don't know what they are talking about, or don't fully understand the mechanic. The latest update also made SR more effective, in other words you probably don't have to think about maintaining distance or watching patrols anymore.

It is kinda funny how some people think SR should make them completely invisible against AI, usual line is - Silent running is broken!! ;-)
