Spare a thought for all those stranded and late passengers due to changes to mining and other factors in Elite.

Whilst Davide Broben and co are sat waiting for a 1st class passenger cabin ship the rest of us are off creaming a living through void opals and attacking megaships! Going to be a looooooooooooonnnnnnngggg wait!

Frontier lets be having us some passenger mission related mission scenarios to spice up the lives of our stranded passengers! British rail over the christmas period now looks more reliable than me in my ASP.

Spare a thought for all those stranded and late passengers due to changes to mining and other factors in Elite.

Players are a negligible minority in the galaxy. I'm still seeing plenty of Belugas, Orcas and Dolphins leaving and entering stations.

Nobody will notice our absence.

Passenger missions are unrealistic.

Why do we only get messages saying "bonus if you deliver by x time", and not messages like "delay your docking by 8 minutes, due to Trumbles on the pad", cancelling missions because of wrong type of atmosphere in the cabins, or Network Stations doing emergency maintenance to the toast-rack?

Mah emmursion is broken with all this obviously gamified fakery.

It is because we aren't doing British Rail or scheduled airline type transport we are doing minibus hire or charter airline type work where scheduling is not as critical because routes are optional.

Shunting - a glorious pursuit! o7

The odd time I've fired up any of the train simulator games, its always shunting, or switching to our american bretheren, that has been most fun.

IRL I have a workshop that I use for my own car/land rover projects, I really enjoy "shunting" dead/donor/non-runner vehicles about with one of the landies and a rigid bar
