Passenger Missions & Boom

Hiya,

In the context of the Boom state giving an Influence multiplier for "Trade" activities, do passenger missions count as such?

I can't say we've ever specifically tested it. Though we have confirmed double the benefit of trading in boom (in that it takes half as much effort to reach the same gain, the amout of possible gain is unaffected)

I would like to know this too, as a faction I am helping is in Boom state, and I would love to do lots of passenger missions.

The old info from FDev has stated that Missions and Trading had a double effect in Boom.

In general, I have treated Passengers as a variation of missions, and follow the same guidelines.

I have paid more attention to the effects during conflicts - and during Wars or Civil Wars like regular Missions Passengers do nothing, but work fine during Elections.

So I assume they give the same double influence reward under Boom.

Bulk Passenger missions (Tourists, Politicians etc.) are the ones to boost the Influence while short range VIP missions are the best to build Reputation in a peaceful way.

With 3.0 coming next week this is due to change. Let's see and test it when it does.

Hey Jane. I recall Goemon posting a trading & influence study. Have a link to that by any chance?
