Passenger Missions : Dolphin, Orca, Beluga requiered for rich VIPs

There should be more incensitive to use Tourists Ships (Dolphin, Orca, Beluga).
VIPs should requiere tourists ships only and for the most rich of them : Luxury Cabin.
Those missions should pay a lot more, especially the one needing Luxury cabin (
for now they are rare and useless as they pay not that much).

For now you just need to take a big hauler (T7, Python, Anaconda) and make it a Space Charter Ship to transport rich VIP for a lot of money...

Does it make any sense ?

For now even a T7 ships (17M) beat an Orca (48M) for passenger mission.
T7 : 3 x Class 6, 3 x Class 5, 2 x Class 3
Hull : 420T
Price : 17M
Total : 150 Economic passenger

Orca : 1 x Class 6, 3 x Class 5, 1 x Class 4, 1 x Class 3, 2 x Class 2
Hull : 290T
Price : 48M
Total : 94 Economic passenger

From a Charter Flight perceptive the ratio Passenger/Hull mass give the advantage to the T7.

And as all missions are treated like Charter Flight at the exception to the one requiering luxury cabin, we can say that Tourists Ships are useless, except for the pleasure to fly them.

It is normal that big hauler are better as Charter Flight as confort is a lot reduced to nothing, as it is the case for current travel by plane.

But tourists ships are like cruise ships or yacht, the ticket price a seat, or a room inside those luxurious ships should be a lot more expensive !

By doing this it would make the new tourists ships really interesting and better for passenger missions.
Splitting passenger mission between VIPs Tourist Ship and huge Charter Ship, would allow to choose your side : mass tourists charter transportation or luxurious passenger transportation and make the new ships really worth the use.

I get plenty of high payout passenger missions that require Luxury cabins; it could be that you are looking for passenger missions in the wrong places, aren't allied with the faction you are taking missions from, or that your rank limits the payouts of the missions.

In terms of carrying VIPs, the Orca is a clear winner; not because of the luxury cabins but due to its speed. Try outrunning a pursuing Viper MkIII that's trying to scan you in a T7 with secretive passengers and you'll know what I mean. I do agree that there is little reason to pick up the bulk transport missions currently though, or even regular transport missions as the payout doesn't match that of the sightseeing missions and the risk is higher (transporting multiple passengers to different bases increases chances of being scanned).

All this being said, I wouldn't be opposed to the passenger lounge having an area where passengers can be "bought" and taken wherever you please to drop them off. It makes sense in high population systems that you would be able to find hundreds if not thousands of people willing to travel to wherever it is you are deciding to fly.
