Newcomer / Intro Passenger Missions

Ok so I'm a N00b :) I have a Dolphin with 3 different passenger cabins and I have noticed that sometimes I can pick more then one mission and other times (the most often) once I pick a mission all the other missions vanish and go to 0 available. Why???

Bulk passenger missions can squish multiple passengers across multiple cabins. VIP passenger missions (ie those with a named passenger) require one cabin each.

It has to do with whether or not different groups of passengers will share passenger cabins. If the mission lists the passengers as a group such as "6 tourists", "11 scientists" or "5 refugees" then they will all happily share a single cabin (within capacity limits) but if the group is led by a passenger with a name such as Bren Thimbledome or suchlike, then that passenger's group will occupy an entire cabin no matter how much extra available room in the cabin. Also, if you do not have enough cabin capacity, missions that you do not have the cabin capacity to carry will not appear in the available missions list. o7

Pro-Tip: The various Mission Boards will never offer a cargo or passenger mission that your ship cannot complete at that moment but if you accept a mission and then purchase fuel you may find that your ship is now too massive (heavy) to make the jumps necessary to complete your mission(s). If buying fuel (i.e.: you have no fuel-scoop), always purchase fuel first thing on landing, before going to the mission boards.

Yes I get that so I look at all the missions and there is one that has 6 passengers going to place "A" my main cabin's max is 10 or 12 passengers, then I also see two other missions with 2 passengers each going to different places and I just happens to have 2 additional cabins so when I pick the 6 passenger mission going to place "A" all the other missions that I could have added vanish.

Several possible reasons. All passenger missions have three limitations:
  • the number of passengers, shown in the descirption
  • the minimum cabin class, shown in the description
  • whether the passenger (group) is willing to share out the cabin (which is the same as willing to be distributed over multiple cabins), shown as the little crown symbol

So, you can distribute (for example) a tourist transport across your three cabins, which then all will be occupied. Or you can pick up three VIP missions, each in its own cabin. Or you can pick up a single snob who will use your only first class cabin, and all other first class passengers will not be interested in your remaining economy cabins.

What are the cabin classes, and what are those passnegers' cabin class requirements?

Ok right now I have 3 cabins all economy, 1-10 passenger, and 2-2 passenger, so when I look at the missions I''l see 1 mission with 4 economy passengers and I'l see another economy mission with 2 peeps and another economy with two peeps. so I should be able to accomodate all three missions with each having their own economy cabin, right? but when I accept like the first with 4 peeps the other 2 missions disappear.

That should work... but there are no 10 passenger economy cabins, only business. Can you get some screenshots of the mission board and your loadout?

Can somebody explain this to me? Are they willing to be divided between multiple cabins but only if the class is the same for everyone? I clearly have enough sits for all of them.

Aggregation is only on same class basis.

I usually outfit either all first class or all business depending on ship size.

Python and Anaconda generally make the best bulk passenger carrier ships.
