Passenger Star-liners

My dearest apologies to my fellow pilots if this has already been suggested.

I've been wondering (for quite some time across many games): Not everyone in the galaxy is going to be a pilot, let alone have money to afford a space craft. So, why do we not have the ability to be a pilot for a star-liner company or something.

It could work kinda like a trade commodity except it is contracted, happens at scheduled times, special routes, and possibly a time limit (nothing crazy or dangerous for the passengers)

Perhaps even the ability to smuggle people (not necessarily PCs) in and out of enemy controlled space for larger fees? (black market sub-menu)

As far as game integration goes, I can understand the risk of taking on 300 or so passengers and then getting blown to bits. Anyway, just a thought. This is something I would LOVE to see. Thoughts?

Be safe!

Carrying passengers is going to be in the game

We have also seen pictures of some gorgeous dedicated passenger ships, the Dolphin and the Orca

. I've also seen the Beluga in an article in Edge magazine some months ago which is similar in style but bigger.

I don't know if that career line is something I'd like, but it might be worth a stab at it to drive those beauties.

Oh, those are nice! Straight out of the TTA Handbook.

I could be a passenger liner pilot. Though they might find themselves on an unscheduled detour to Antares. :)

I love the look of them. Looking forward to seeing them in action.

It looks like it would be a spectacularly beautiful and elegant deathtrap.

I wonder what kind of bounty on your head you would get for taking one out.

I never thought I would say this but, after looking at those ships and then reading how the missions would be done, I really want to captain passenger space-liner .

I think buying a Beluga class liner, filling it full of cheap accommodation and doing regular runs between Sol and Barnards Star at "cheap prices"* would give Ryanair a decent run for their money.
