Passengers not leaving cabin?

In case anyone else has a similar issue - In Odyssey I just had 2 passengers that were not leaving their cabin, despite the left panel showing I had no pending missions left after handing in all my completed missions. This was stopping me from switching ship in Odyssey.

I had to quit and launch into Horizons, where it showed I still had a pending mission. After sorting that out in Horizons and getting the passengers evicted I was able to log back into Odyssey and switch ships.

I have a similar issue, but even launching into Horizons doesn't work for me. I was playing the Odyssey DLC, two missions logged, four cabins full of passengers and just about to jump to the next system... Game crashes, Azure something error. Log back into Odyssey, passengers cabins still full in right HUD, yet the missions are no longer registered in the left HUD. Unable to change ships, unable to remove cabins even with the store all function, unable to acquire passenger missions. So, other than self destructing the ship which I suppose may work, I am stuck with passengers in my cabins. As I am a patient person, I'll wait for this issue to be resolved before instead of sacrificing the ship to test if that works. (Would greatly appreciate a resolution to this issue which seems to have resurfaced after the Odyssey DLC.)
