Horizons Passengers question

At the station I call my home port there are passengers wanting to go to some really far off places like 1,000 plus LY and when I go to check the galaxy map and plot course it says distance exceeded. I'm wondering what ship you could possibly need to make a trip like that. Why would they be under "missions available" if I can't make the trip?

The galaxy map route plotter has a general limit of 1,000LY per calculation. Any ship can make it, but you need to plot such a long route in chunks of less than 1,000LY as you go.

And as the mission overview says, the ship will absolutely require a fuel scoop to be fitted. The larger the better is a good rule of thumb for fuel scoops.

You need to make your first way point under 1000LY. Plot that route and then you can plot the remainder after that. The Galactic Map has a 1000 LY max for plotting jumps.

Got to Calonia at 22,000 LYs and see how time you need to plot jumps .. lol

So much to see, so little time to do it.

Got ninja'd, but the part about the fuel scoop is REALLY important. I should have mentioned that as well
