Path crossing for Steam Train

While building my version of the Efteling I noticed a major flaw in the Steam train system wich makes building harder.

I want the Steam Train able to cross paths with Warning signals so people stop walking there when the train comes.
Now I have to either:

- Build into the ground wich in my opinion looks really bad.
- Build above ground wich even looks more bad.

Please fix this!

Yeah, it would be nice if you could make level crossings, not just with train tracks but also car tracks. However, the game treats paths pretty much the same as ride tracks and none of them can intersect.

In general, though, train tracks are mostly around the perimeter of the park so rarely need to cross pedestrian paths unless you just want them to. And when you do that, it's not so hard to make a trestle, or treat the whole thing like an elevated railway such as in Chicago.

your saying the game doesnt allow a 4 way path intersection? ride tracks mostly go in one direction (sometimes backwards too), but paths can go in any direction not just front to back

there are real life parks with railroad crossings so making a recreation there isnt possible, plus this is a pretty popular request

So I didn't search that well. Sorry about starting a new thread without a proper check.

But as it is requested this much I hope it will be in the next update.

Maybe they should make a wide track one and a small track one wich kan cross paths

You know that's not what I meant. I meant that just as the tracks of 2 different rides can't intersect, neither can paths and rides.

Oh yes, I would much like this myself. And I'd like it extended to paths crossing car/cat/sleigh tracks, and also those tracks crossing train tracks. I want to make a park like a busy city street with pedestrians, cars, and trolley cars all sharing the same road space :)

Coaster path intersections too and make warning bars and lights optional so you have to pay fines if guests are hit to add management depth.

Really hope this will come sooner or later. If it's not possible then just add a cheat so we can intersect paths with railroads.
