Paths - Only 4 days to go!

[fbpost=PlanetCoaster]369574316500038[/fbpost] What do you guys think about this one? For some reason, I didn't find it very impressive [where is it][weird]

Not bad though. I spotted some weird things that I guess will get fixed, as this is just an alpha version.

It is pretty good. Even better is their idea of reserving the space needed for a path to function when using the terrain tool to put soil above it. Or the way they use stone blocks on regular intervals/sections when making paths (not queues) to make them feel more naturally inclined.

One thing I have not noticed though is how pathing (and everything else really) is going to work on inclined terrain, like a slope or a mesa. I have a feeling that it will be difficult to truly build a park on dissimilar terrain.

It would partly make sense, since things like buildings and flat rides need..er..a mostly flat area to function. We will have to see how this unfolds soon..C:

Wait, wait...Is it me, or does it appear that all curved paths are made by just creating a few small straight pieces really close to each other?? [weird]

I imagine these videos are being done by building out the paths/structures, deleting them, then holding an undo button so we can see it all flow out as the guests wander around and time passes.

As such, I don't think it's representative of how the actual system will work, but it still looks damn good.

Awesome to see the path's!! They look awesome, yet i do have a few questions :

- Stairs? I see a lot of slopes, which is good, but can we also make stairs?
- "old school" 90 degree path's. As much i love the rounded curve, i would also still love to be able to make L curves. Can we still make them?

by the way it's wonderfull how we can also make 180 degree turns!! we really needed those for que lines, i didn't notice them before.

These look great. Looks really controllable which is just what we need. I'm really hoping that we have the option to have angular edges when the path changes direction as well as rounded ones though.

The first 2 lamps are actually floating when you first see them, it looks to me like they built the path and added lamps and then did some dev wizardry to hide/redraw the path for the purposes of the video.

It's more of a cool video than a video where you can see how the game works.
