Pay off Federation Bounty

I was under the impression that this could be paid in any system (doesn't have to be Federation). However, no bounty shows up when I dock in a non-Federation system, when choosing the Pilot's Federation contact in the station.

Is this a bug? I'm wanted for accidentally hitting a Fed during a fight in a nav point, typical nonsense, I usually can avoid this, but not this time.

I'm thinking if I can't get this cleared in a non-Fed system, I might try an outpost in a Fed system, but the ones I've checked so far are not Fed allied, even tho they're in a Fed system.

This is confusing, I thought the Pilot's Fed contact was there to handle things no matter where you are. I logged off and back in again hoping it would reset, but no joy there...

Ive just picked up a 200cr fine and cant pay it off anywhere including a Fed station??

Plus killed a few Wanted ships in an Anarchy system and got no bounty to claim on my left panel screen even though it came up once id killed em....

You pay off fines in the "local security office" tab NOT the "pilot's federation".

I think it is the pilots federation to pay off fines actually. There has been a bug lately that you can't pay them off. Just log out and then back in, and the bounty should vanish.

I don't think bounty/fines are working properly.

Just had a 200cr fine so flew back to station, but I couldn't pay it off.

Logged off and back in the fine disappeared, so something is broken.

Nope, things are not working properly. I logged off for lunch, and when I came back on, bounty was gone. Ticketed it...

Just happenned to me... 400cr fine, unable to pay it off anywhere so head to a station I am allied to, not only do they greet me with 'esteemed ally' but also a hail of weapons fire and blow me to smithereens... ANOTHER 180k down the drain.... Bug needs fixing asap!!!

I had same thing happen last night. Any time you're wanted it's a good idea to try using an outpost first to pay it off. If you go to a station, park 7.5km away lined up on the letterbox, request docking, go to modules and turn off as much as you can; weapons, shields, cargo hatch, life support etc. to reduce heat, hit silent running and then dock as fast as you can to avoid a scan.

Once inside the station be sure to disengage silent running so you don't fry yourself.
