Pay per attraction DLC - Yes or No

What's everyone's thoughts on the prospect of paying for individual ride DLC instead of ride packs like we've seen with the thrill seekers pack?

Much of the time I only want 1 or 2 attractions out of each pack so it would probably suit me better personally.

Generally nice idea, because maybe there's just one ride of a rides pack which is really interesting. But otherwise, it's a higher risk to Frontier if a ride they released isn't selling good...
And single ride dlcs probably would be more expensive.

I think that they should stick with dlcs containing several rides and scenery. Then everybody could find something nice in there...

Absolutely not. I don't think it's in any of our interests to ever encourage microtransaction-style selling of digital assets like that lest it turn into a Sims 3/Sims 4 EA cash grab mobile game. It kills all games that utilise this and turns them into something very different, and it would absolutely kill the Planet games.

It is always, always better to have full-packaged themed DLCs made with love, rather than having $1 for a monorail, $1 for a boat, $1 for a wall set, $1 for a path texture...

Even if you only want a few things from a given DLC, it's certainly better for the game and its quality as a whole to have them as full DLCs.

Nope, keep it how it is. It's bad enough that companies have the cheek to download DLC onto your hard drive, and then lock you out of it until you pay for the DLC. I know the size is probably small in the grand scheme of things, but it's my hard drive, I paid for it.

the thing is, the idea isnt even that bad. however i do also appreciate the way they did it in planco 1, we always got some rides and new themes together. if they sold them separately and also in packs i wouldnt dislike that at all :) that would leave the option open for everyone to choose as they like

There's definitely positives and negatives to both options, which is why I was curious to see which was more popular with players.

I certainly wouldn't want everything to be micro-transactions.

While it might seem like a great idea in theory, it's not practical to do so.

Out of customer sight: absolutly no, since the thing in package deals is mostly you get more value

Out of company sight: Hell yes, we only design one good ride, let the interns do the filler (for the pack) and end up with more profit

Frontier is really pushing the idea of cross-platform sharing, and it was difficult enough in PC1 to share blueprints that used items from a DLC someone didn't have. Having individual DLC, while fine for the person who may not download or share blueprints, it could add even more problems for those who don't buy them.
