Newcomer / Intro paying fines and collecting Claims

Hello.

After doing some trading and saving up some cash to arm my ship ive now started taking on pirates and bountys.

I was practicing with my new lazers and took about someone I shouldnt and then got a 300 credit fine.

Ive also managed to claim a bounty. As you can see by the screenshot below.

Problem is I cant seem to be able to pay off the fine, or collect the bounty.

Some help please lads.

Dock in a spacestation and select "contacts". The first option (Pilots Federation) will let you pay your fine and the middle option (Local Security Office) will allow you to claim your bounty :)

not totally accurate or complete.

Fines are paid at the local security office of the authority that fined you. (cannot be paid in another System)
If you do not pay the fine in the time alloted, it will change into a bounty.

Bounties (on you) can be paid off at the Pilots Federation contact's office in any station in any System.

Bounty claims can be redeemed at the Local Security office in any station in systems where issuing faction (major or minor) has a presence.
So Federation bounty claims get paid in any system where any minor faction belong to the Federation
Bounties issued by independent factions can only be redeemed in their system.
