Hi.

I pledged £100 (the maximum my family and I could raise last xmas) to take part in the first beta and to get a lovely boxed collectors edition.

all was fine and well, until 3-4 mins ago and now I'm confused.

I've just logged in to the online store (after resetting my password as i'd long forgotten it) and it says:-

order total: £100
order status: Processing

uh.. processing? I thought the money was already paid last Jan when the kickstarter ended?

I have no online access to my bank so now I'm digging out my old bank statements in the hope of finding last years and seeing if it was paid or not.

Whats going on?

Log into your backer's app (be sure to enter the Captcha correctly) - all should be in order there.

The store is sort of doing its own thing.

Thanks, I don't seem to have a link to that so I'll rummage around and see if I can find it.

I think they are using a standard e-product type checkout for digital products which would normally assume the file was already available, but they can't complete the order until they have something for you to download. So 'processing' is the last status until download.

Please contact the store support team who will get back to you. I'm sure everything is ok. The store is at https://store.zaonce.net/

I also have 'processing'. My guess it is about that beta isn't arrived here yet, not processing payment. I really wouldn't worry about that too much, as it is part of backer rewards database anyway.

Yes That is logical, "treatment" refers to the processing of the order, not billing. The money has already been removed since a long time now

I dare say that should payment not have gone through, you wouldn't have anything showing..

Just check your old statements and look for the most recent one after you made your transaction and it should say something about Frontier Developments somewhere. I have a statement from my bank confirming that payment has been made to Frontier so all is well. As others have said that processing thing is just there because there is no actual software to download yet.

Please forgive piggy-backing on this thread rather than starting another, but the issue is related...

I pledged at £150, but the store shows only £100 - normal store quirk, you think?

Appreciate people's insight...

Checking the backer's app, I notice that the Captcha (that caught a lot of people out) seems to have been removed.

As a Backer I can avail of the 100 price on the ALPHA. But I had to stop the order half way through and try to workout the complicated verification process on VISA and PAYPAL. Now when I go back in to reorder the ALPHA it insists I pay 200??

Anyone any ideas? I'm getting tired of this and thinking of giving up on the whole thing.

Aventually I've sorted it out. Thanks! I payed through paypal and got discount. But it took weeks to get PayPal working. I have to say, Paypal is a nightmare!!
Anyway it was worth it in the end. ; )
