Hardware & Technical PC component retail sellers in South UK?

I'll spare the details but I could use some components today, but struggling to come up with physical places I could visit rather than wait for delivery next week.

Novatech is the first choice that sprang to mind, but it is about 90 minutes away from Swindon where I'm based and I don't fancy 3 hours of driving today. Are there any others closer?

Edit: I should add, it probably needs to be an enthusiast level retailer. PC World and Maplins don't cut it.

The only one I can think of is Saverstore.com but a) their collection counter is closed on Saturdays and b) it's probably a worse journey for you than Portsmouth.

All the decent ones seem to be up north.

Didn't realise that Novatech had closed their other 3 stores, pity. Hope they are not struggling as it's important that these smaller independent retailers stay in business.

Ok, guess I'm not going to finish this job today then and will order for next week. SP Computers look like your small box shifter and chances of them stocking enthusiast kit is even lower than PCW/Maplins. Saverstore I haven't heard of before, and I can't reach the website at the moment.

My current system is from components mostly from Novatech. Had to RMA an AMD Fury and they were no fuss about it so are in my good books.

Didn't think of that. Just checked, they do Sunday delivery. Don't have what I want in stock or suitable alternatives.
