PC requirements for highest settings

Hey!

I am looking at buying a new PC. I have one I am very eager to buy but wanted to check with you guys whether you think it will be sufficient. The goal of buying this PC was namely to play Planet Zoo at very high settings, and I thought that perhaps you guys know more about it than me...

The set-up I have now:
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
  • 32 GB of RAM
  • 4K 144 Hz monitor
  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor

Can any PC fanatics tell me whether this is sufficient to play this lovely game with high fps and high graphics?

I think you'd need at least 8GB of GPU, as well. About the processor and the RAM, it seems like it's good; you have more than my laptop, and it can run the game at a reasonable pace, low graphics.

I myself am trying to build one, but I can't get a tower to work because my version of Windows is Windows Enterprise and it's outdated

The setup provided looks a good enough computer to play the game as is, no harm in buying an even better one to get the best performance. There is a downside to very high specs however, the game is throttled by its own design as a sandbox builder. The large and very detailed zoos one might see on youtube or wherever run at around 20-30 fps on the best computers with no way to increase performance.

My existing setup on a laptop with a amd ryzen 7 6800, nvidia 3070ti (8gb) and 16gb of ram is sufficient in maintaining a decent framerate with medium/high graphics for medium sized zoos (20-40 animal habitats). Very Large zoos (50 plus habitats) for me can cripple performance bringing it down to around 15fps.
