Black Widow Company is a veteran founded, military-style, international, multi-game outfit that has existed for over 18 years. We are a multi-national gaming community that provides training, teamwork, and the best possible gaming experience to our members and those we fight alongside. While roughly half of our members are active duty military, prior service, retired, and/or combat veterans, a military background is not a requirement to join BWC. Anyone who is serious about having fun and winning is welcome.
BWC is a highly structured and competitive gaming outfit. We are not a clan, or a guild, but a close-knit community that maintains a standard of excellence across the multiple gaming properties we engage in. Due to that, we do have minimum expectations for recruitment and not all who apply are accepted. You do not join BWC for a single game, you join BWC to participate in and experience excellence in gaming.
Within Elite Dangerous, we actively participate in the BGS meta, supporting our young in-game minor faction in our corner of the galaxy, as well as answering calls from our various allies. Meanwhile, we actively organize our own "campaigns" that take place over 1-8 weeks as a way to provide direction and engagement for all our CMDRs. These cover any area of interest to our members, and include things like expanding into and consolidating control of a star system, organized efforts to achieve Community Goals, a fleet carrier expedition to Colonia, and anti-Xeno activities.
We welcome CMDRs of all skill levels and interests who are keen to work as part of a larger team to complete shared objectives, and have a willingness to learn and improve.
