Greetings, fellow Commanders!
My squadron, TITAN Contractors, a new-player friendly squadron focusing on mentor-ship primarily, will be launching a small exploration trip that will last 6 weeks, and we will be touring several story locations in the galaxy! The theme for this trip will focus exploration, and we will be touring INRA, Thargoid and Guardian sites and structures throughout the trip.
If you're new to the game and would like to explore, but are not sure where to start, now is your chance! We begin the journey on the 14th of June (if no game issues arise, any interruptions will be announced on the Discord), and will spend the 6 weeks following a pre-defined route that will visit all sorts of locations. To give everyone a chance to play, we will spend a few days at the important destinations related to Thargoid and Guardian lore, and one or two days on the lesser destinations. Also, an exploration ship is not needed, since we will be using one of our Fleet Carriers to provide transport for the journey! The only thing that will be required is the Horizons expansion, as most of the content we are visiting is Horizons-based.
We will be posting jump notifications and announcements about this trip on our Discord, so if you're interested, please consider joining! We're a small mentor-ship squadron, but we all love to do all sorts of stuff in Elite Dangerous, and our friendly-but-small community will welcome you and offer their advice to get you started in Elite.
Although this event is targeting new players primarily, anyone can join! We will be posting status updates and new way-points on our squadron discord, so in order to participate, people must join the Discord or in-game squadron (ID is TCON) for the duration of the event, and if you'd like, maybe stick around! Also, please note we are on PC. You will be able to follow the Carrier and our Discord waypoints, and maybe join a voice-chat or two, but as Elite is not cross-platform, our PC players will not be able to provide their assistance in-game to console players unfortunately.
