Proposal Discussion Peak / Off Peak Indicator

I was reading this thread http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=19862 and that's not the first mention of it being a better experience when the UK are sleeping.

So would a peak / off peak indicator be a good idea? Would something that told you how many were playing (but not who for confidentiality reasons) be useful? How would this be possible?

Probably because the servers are struggling with the amount of players at present.

Really the best time to play when all is working well is peak time as that is when you are more likely to be matched to local players instead of overseas.

When the game is properly released it will always be peak time in some country around the world. It wont be a mainly UK only game. It will probably be like any other game. Mostly Americans or wherever.
