RCT 3 PC Peeps not visable on rides and objects when zooming out!

When Zooming out on RCT3 the peeps start to slowly disappear and it appears like there is no one riding the rides. this is annoying is this normal?

Yes, the various elements all have different draw distances based on the performance of your computer. You can manually change them in the graphic options in game, although this can degrade performance of the game if you set them too high. It is recommended that you use the auto-detect option and leave the settings as is.

peeps seem very keen to vanish into the insides of seats when they sit down, perhaps allowing just the odd limb to protrude beyond the boundaries of the cushions. there seems to be a misalignment between peeps and their seats. think that explains it a bit better

Something similar was a known issue with some ATI graphics cards, what graphics card do you have? If you go into the graphic and LOD options, turn off Detail level blend and toggle the Agressive Z Bias option.

every time i try to update the game it says RCT 3 retail is not found on your pc, and the check for updates program always says internet failure.
agressive z bias is off, when its turned on its worse.
Graphics Card is Radeon HD 4850

I don't think there's anything you can do to fix this if those options didn't work for you, however it is worth checking you have the updates installed - what is the version number of the game? The thread I linked to before tells where to look for this.

RCT3 version 3.0.12.74

That means you already have Update 2 for the EU version installed, unfortunately update 3 was not released outside the US except as part of the Wild expansion.
