Trust me the Pegasi System is dangerous.
I was ambling along nicely doing the Antal CG, with a full load in my trade fitted Anaconda, small shields, everything light as possible to get the range, no shield cells, just some chaff & a heat-sink launcher.
I was interdicted by something, i was reading the forum at the time, so didn't look, i just pulled back my throttle, probably a viper, or DB i thought, had lots of them before.
But no, when i looked again it was a deadly wanted Anaconda, now i know the AI has been buffed up by Sarah, but this guy was tough.
He has canons, pulse lasers, shield boosters, missiles. And starts firing straight away at my behind, i admit, i did panic a little at first, not had my Anny long, untested weapons, untested in any real combat, pulling my self together, and realising i had chaff "so use em". I started to have at him, and i was doing ok for a while, his shields went down first, then mine went down, his hull went to 49%, mine was at 55%, i could win this. and i might have if not for what happened next.
My cockpit canopy blew out, i had only 7 mins of air, i had to get to a station fast. I tried to boost, no power, i didn't want to take power from shields, i was hoping they might recharge in time, but soon realised no chance of that happening, so power to engines, try boost, but i was mass locked, systems all over the place.
I managed to get away and head for the station, totally panicking, and i got into the gravity pull of the planet, more time i will lose.
Arriving at the station finally, with less than 3 mins time left.
I or the Vulcan even, totally messed up putting power to engines as well, i looked and why was power to my weapons. Another fine mess ect.
I forgot about the Auto docking, never mind, I'll just speed up to disable it.
2.30s left, my voice attack failed to send docking request, i had to do it manually after i realised, this totally threw me off target for the letterbox, Vulcan you failed me bad. You know that feeling when nothing is going right, just when you need it to.
In my panic i messed up my first attempt and hit the cage, (more precous time lost) I pulled back on the throttle and the DC kicked in, luckily it pulled me clear, so i had another chance eventually, and not much time now, this time i flew straight in, throttled back and the DC took aver again, landing me with 55s to go Phew.
Heart was in my mouth, the AI deadly is much tougher now, but this was great fun, and amongst the best moments ever in the game.

And i refuse to combat log, even in group mode, just feels like i am cheating myself.
