We have discussed a lot of times the ideas of mini-packs or stand-alone animals released in between DLCs. How would you feel about a pelican minipack with Great White Pelican, Australian Pelican and Brown Pelican? That way each continent gets a pelican, and the effort putting in creating a pelican is reused in the extra pelicans. 3 "cloned" animals and 3 signs for let's say 3.49 €? I would buy it!

Pelicans are cool and I definitely think one is needed in the game but really I'd only want one, if we got any more I'd be confused. As for which species, my preference is the Great White because it is by far the most common in zoos. If they were to do a mini pack like this why not make the other two slots other easy "clones" like the Grey Crowned Crane or even the Greater Rhea?

As @Aramar suggested, this way we’d get pelicans that are suitable for zoos all over the world (Australian zoos have Australian pelicans for example) and the effort for creating the second two is relatively minimal after making the first one.

Lets say support goes into next year but instead of any normal packs we just get 12 mini packs throughout the year. Each comes with 3 animals from similar taxonomic groups like a new world primate, pinniped or waterfowl mini packs. They also each come with a few plants and staues/signs for each animal. They'd cost 5$ usd, how'd you feel about this.

Why? I am genuinely curious why you only want one? I think variety is the spice of life! These mini packs are a great compromise between those of us whom are ok with clones and those who want super unique animals in DLC rosters.
If Frontier were to implement this, I'd definitely hope for a canid pack. Bat-eared Fox, Tanuki, Black-backed Jackal for example. The problem with this idea is wether they would sell or not, hence the cheaper price is realistic. With the cheaper price, would be less investment so there would also have to be a focus on reskins of previous DLC and base game animals probably.

I'm more so saying that with the same amount of ease it would be to make a new pelican and then two clones of it you could make a new pelican and clones of existing animals that are.more necessary such as a grey crowned crane, rhea, some kind of pheasant in some sort of bird pack which would probably require a similar amount of effort overall.

But again, as I often say, necessary is subjective. If you build an Australian zoo, an Australian pelican is necessary. And if, in this hypothetical world, we were getting a pelican pack, we would surely get a crane pack and a pheasant pack too.

Because we already have a crane and antelopes. My idea was to get something completely new and clone it so that the work done to create the new animal is reused. Of course they can take an existing animal and make variations of it, but I guess it would be less popular than something completely new .
This kind of reminds me of accessories packs of sims. And I just wanted to make some more lists, cause I love making lists and why not?
