Pelicans please !!!

After thinking a little, the best way to get a pelican and someother missing important animals i believe something like a "zoo classic" pack would great.
Id make it a 4+1 pack, expanding on the classic set in game and featuring some more general or old school items.
For the animal selection i choose 5 animals out of the 100 most common EAZA animals, which makes sense as the oldest zoos we have are in europe + we only have suficient EAZA data.
First we got our great white pelican at spot 89, one of the last abc animals and the reason why this thread exist, then the cotton top tamarin at spot 67 as its a monkey and in fact the second most common after the common marmoset.
The third and next adc animal is the indian crested porcupine on the number 64, a community favorite and good cover animal for the pack with wide appeal.
The last habitat animal is the number 12, the benettes or red necked wallaby, the third most common australian animal after the emu and the budgie.
Lastly, the most common exhibit animal is the red eared slider, which slides right into this pack.
So there we go, each continent gets something, more classic pieces and overall only popular animals, that shouldnt be that hard to do besides the pelican.
1 for NA, 1 for SA, 1 for Oceania, 1 for Europe, 2 for Asia and 2 for Africa.
Sounds like a clear win for me as a "filler" pack between animal packs that everyone would love.

Pelicans would be great addition to the 'flightless' birds we already have, reminds me of an old zoo video of some pelicans trying to swallow a capybara whole 
As others have mentioned, unfortunately I don’t feel there are very many themes that feel likely for PZ at this point where a pelican could make an appearance. Though, I do think something like a “Coastal Pack” would be our best chance for a pelican. It feels like a pretty plausible pack to one day happen, because there’s still a number of “popular” shoreline species that aren’t in PZ. Some of them also feel like easy “repeat/clone” opportunities for Frontier (which we all know they love), such as the Sea Otter or an additional penguin species. A Sea Turtle or Manatee also are requested animals that’d add something unique to the pack as well. And there’s no shortage of unique coastal architecture Frontier could draw inspiration from.
Honestly, if fish/crustaceans/cetaceans are fully off the table for PZ1, a “Coastal Pack” may be our only realistic chance left for most of the species I mentioned above.

Yeah, Coastal or dedicated bird pack are probably the themes I would expect a pelican to show up.
I am not too confident on a coastal pack, though it could be really nice with a Walrus, Pelican, Sea Otter, Little Blue Penguin and something like a Coconut Crab for exhibit, but not sure how well it would be recieved.
Dedicated bird pack seems a bit more likely but might as well never happen...

They are in my top 3 of wanted animals (duck is number one). The aforementioned Coastal Pack or Bird Pack would be a great place for them (the Aquatic Pack is the best selling DLC pack, I can absolutely see a spiritual sequel down the road).
But tbh with all these conversations of theming issues, I don't really see the big deal. They can figure something out.
I honestly think Frontier kinda hodgepodge the Conservation Pack together simply so we'd get a leopard, gibbon, and Przewalski's wild horse.

They're all endangered! Conservation! Bingo! Throw in an ungulate and profit! (raises wine glass) Gentlemen, to animals!
