People expecting the PS4 version but I'm waiting for something bigger

As much as I'm dying of hype for the PS4 version, I can't wait to get Horizons and be able to download 2.4. I mean, THARGOIDS! And Season 3 on the horizon(no pun intended) with FDev saying it'll focus on gameplay mechanics(probably refining basic ones) and expanding on the "conspiracy" that's happening.
But I hope I don't become like a PC user who complains about lack of content while having +100 hours in and still plays the game.

Can't change human nature, the minute one issue is resolved, it replaced with another issue. We like to complain, and kill when it doen't match our expectaions or agenda. It's in part what separates us from the supposed lower form of life here. To complain is to be human!

If we were content we'd still be in the caves. To find fault, be critical and want more and more is a desire that has made us swarm the planet, craft and invent.

Having said that, the PS4 bunch here seem quite sweet and hope it may continue for as long as possible.

Value is a funny old thing. I used to say that if I got 40 hours play and enjoyment out of a game then I'd got my money's worth. Sometimes game time comes in much less, sometimes more, but for me ED is in a category all of its own. I have over 2000 hours playtime on ED on the Xbox alone, with the PC not far behind. Even if I never played Elite again, I couldn't really complain I haven't had my money's worth out of it.

Elite isn't for everyone. It can be hard and unforgiving. There is no-one telling you what to do or where to go or even how to do it. But if it clicks with you, it's one heck of a ride. I know it seems it's been a long time coming, but I envy you guys. You are about embark on an amazing journey. Enjoy
