People expressing concerns over the game

Hello again everybody,
I have been looking through the forums and have seen people with threads discussing valid concerns (in my opinion) withing the game. For example: A lack of variation to bloat the number of species in the game.
Some people, definitely only very few people, have been dismissive towards others concerns instead of addressing them, and some responders get very defensive over their claims. It usually leads to name calling/passive aggressiveness from both parties and it spreads like the plague.

Please note that I didn't make this thread to call anyone out, I just want everyone to get along, which is inevitably impossible but I can try I guess.

Edit: I would also like to note that I'm trying not to be overbearing so I hope that I don't come off that way.

It's the non stop whining, the unrealistic expectations. Bringing that Reddit garbage over here to whine about. It needs to stop cause it's getting ridiculous.

I think the expectations are going crazy from some

realistically i'd say you have to look at it from the perspective of is it at least fun and functional at release and then as you go along as you expect these days do Frontier continue to bring additions and refinement to the game either as free updates or paid for content.

I am not expecting the world at the moment I just hope the game is at least fun and not really repetitive. Watching the videos is fine but you never get the full experience until you're playing yourself and you can watch things unfold rather than just having someone's edited gameplay video which will no doubt be done under restrictions on what to show and on a limited time so they can only show certain aspects.

Once you're driving around your own park and getting up close with the dinos ect i am sure people will get lost in that and not focus on the perceived negatives so far from what we know.

Raptors not being able to pack hunt is a massive failure on frontiers part, people have genuine concerns about the behaviour of the dinosaurs and the devs seem quite dismissive.

Good try, but the issue is that neither side will reason wit eachother, hence why I am just blockig people now.

The issue is that it isn't as simple as people think it is, so many people here and on reddit think it can take a day to recode something, when it can take months to get ir rigt.

An excellent suggestion. I might start doing the same. Constructive criticism and expressing valid concerns is one thing; whining, having unrealistic expectations, and acting like petulant brats just because the game isn't 100% what we wanted is another matter entirely.

How do you know they can't hunt in packs? Have you played the game?

The whiners know how to make a game. Not a professional game development studio like Frontier.

I saw the post on Reddit about dinosaurs not sleeping and something vague about herding behavior. The lack of pack hunting is a bit of a letdown but not a deal breaker by far. I guess we won’t know how everything interacts until launch. Maybe they could have spent a bit more time on the game but it just makes sense to have it ready around when the movie releases.

Give Frontier a break, they have other 2 game to look for, one is a big one aka Elite, just give them time to improve, this game look amazing as it is, give it time, if No Man's Sky could turn around and be a good game, Frontier can very much improve the game in every aspect, just give them time.

I am a bit down about the sleeping, but I never expected pack hunting since it seems the based the attack on RTS type of attacking.

It seems like a lot of features that should be in the game have been omitted so that the game will be ready this month, which I love and hate.

I appreciate the effort frontier have made into making the game look pretty but from what they've said in the AMA it seems the game has no real substance, the dinosaurs don't behave like they do in the films and watching the same animations and basic AI over and over is going to get boring very quickly.

I really hope that this is fixed, otherwise I will not support the game in the future, I would have no reason to if it's a boring business sim with some cool dinosaurs.

I read every post and never got that at all, heck they even said they put a lot of effort into making sure that each dinosaur has different animations and acts and reacts different;y. the only downside is no sleeping dinos
