People Interested In A Mining Group?

I was interested in gathering peoples opinion in whether or not people would be interested in forming a mining group with the interest of eventually rising to power from a minor faction with the intentions of eventually getting into Powerplay.

I am currently looking for the opinions of all miners.

I would like to co lead so I can keep my priorities straight with irl classes along with other devotions. Thanks, Mikeal.

Not so sure about Powerplay to start with, as i'm aligned to EMPIRE and want to stay so, but want a mining/exploring career.

But a Mining Group has many advantages

1) Easier for players to Can Wing up to maximise profits from Mining an Asteroid.
2) Wing up with 'Combat' ships to protect in HAzRes zones .They get Bounty and % of Mining trade.
3) We find a system to setup Mining Operation to 'meet' at so making it easier in game to wing up and mine eg Van Musu .

Group can be 'logical' outside of ED , in forums,reddit or even own Website.. AND also an In game group like MOBIUS to Mine in peace...eg PVE.(vs NPC in ReZ).

I would honestly like to try to keep the group in open, because it brings life to the game for everyone. In my personal opinion the open play has become lifeless due to the lack of players and players playing in groups or closed groups. We could play in open but in a remote system with very little trafick such as one of the outer bubble systems. If I could get a group of players going we could investigate and set up a home base and get going from there. I just need enough people interested in getting this style of group going, because I know their are miners out their I just believe they have all fallen into either Mobius or solo play.

The current meet up is 17 Draconis. The Discord will be up and running I am hoping to get some interested parties or members going into which we can expand a player group of miners or res hunters who look to fly with others.
