Performance High-G worlds Thrusters tuning

I am not aware if this has been mentioned before but...

I have installed some awesome Grade 5 Dirty Drives and they now reduce
-optimal mass
-maximal mass (not named but can seen on stats)

Now i think that my Python feels much more "heavy" on planets above 2.5 G gravity. She is much more different to handle than before. I always had problems to hold her up above 4G gravity. But now i can't look with nose to the ground without falling down on a 2.5G world.

Does someone have similar experiences in terms of thruster tuning?
Maybe i should switch to another python with stock-A thrusters to compare.
I will edit here as soon as i have done that.

Sry for bad english ;)

Standard non engineer modded D rated module fer weight considerations...never have problems landing on planets upto 3g...only have issues above that mark but have a small shield to compensate rough landings which serves me well enough even on planets with 5 and 6g in an aspX. I've never owned a python so can't comment although I heard someone describe it as a big ship that can land on a medium pad ^^

Yes this is possible :)
Made myself the landing on HD 148937 3 (9.77g) with 5D thrusters.

But i have the feeling that the performance change after the engineers upgrade to becoming worse on planets with high G.
It seems to me that here doesn't count the optimal multiplier but more the optimal/maximum mass capacity of the thrusters.
Which leads to the question, why don't we have such a mod? For Freighters with undersized thrusters or explorers.

we don't have such a mod, because any thrusters that can run your ship will always have 5 m/s thrust.

I'm not sure about your experience - i'm not sure how thruster mods affect lateral and vertical thrusters - but in my impression all the same?

I'm just gonna leave this here should you wish to conduct further tests ...
