Since there has been a bit of discussion about the Imperial Cutters slow performance, I decided to put it and every other ship in game to the test. For the test every ship was fully A rated with the exception of life support and sensors which where D rated. Every ship got the biggest A rated shields. Every ship got as many shield boosters and hull reinforcement as it could fit. Then I tested the time it took to Roll a full 360 degrees. To pitch (in the blue zone) a full 360 degrees. Pitch full 360 at boost. Pitch full 360 with flight assist off and applying thrust. Measured top speed, top boost speed. Time taken to get to top speed, time taken to go back to full stop, time taken to get to full boots speed from standing start, the maximum armour and shield values of the ship and the cost of doing all of the above.
I noticed that the maneuverability rating in game doesn't seem to correspond to any of the turn values of the ships. Hope this information is useful to some people.
The useful part of this is not to show the quickest speed a ship can do, as some more skillful people could do better, but to show the values (comparison) of these figures with each ship done under the same exact conditions doing the exact same test.
