Posting the address the somewhat extreme negative cmdrs..

Elite has been out for a while now, some founders or beta cmdrs have played for a fair amount longer.

These forums during the alpha/beta was a place of refuge a awesome commentary on the work from FD, they love ELITE, work many hours(some off the clock im sure) to provide us game worthy of the title ELITE.

For those cmdrs new to the Elite universe this game has a soul unlike other games, its like a mirror reflecting your own inner imagination, if you have none you wont get Elite.In 1984 this game broke new ground and many imitations followed, none captured the feeling of elite (some almost).

And im sure FD will admit that mistakes have been made, but remember all GOOD things take time.

Im not raining teddy bears and rainbows but seriously the development of any game takes a LONG time, EvE took FOREVER to become stable after release (beta tested that too btw).


To some it all up, Thank you frontier developments for this game, never surrender, never give in.Continue to do what you do and knock our socks off.

People always moan and vent its the MMO/Social Media generation! but most that complain still grind out 30-40 hours of gameplay a week anyway

Yeah. That's totally been their MO so far. Clear communication about mistaken made and commitment to informing the community about what will be done to improve the game. Yup. That's FDev.

Sorry. But if They don't feel they need to tell us themselves. It's not really that important to them. Is it?

Sadly customers NEVER happy and you need a thick skin to be a game designer.
