Apologies in advance. I'm a new member to this thread and my first time posting a Wishlist. I'm looking for a way that my my wishlist has fans input and reactions for Frontier to notice. Where would be the right place to post this kind of list. I don't mean to spam. For future posts where would be the right place to post a list like this?

Thank you so much for understanding i really appreciate it. have an amazing day!

  • Hello I'm an enthusiast user of Jurassic World Evolution 1. I'm already very excited waiting to use Jurassic World Evolution 2.
I have used Jurassic World Evolution 1 in creating documentaries and posting them on YouTube.
I have a proposal regarding creating new DLCs. Specifically including animals from the Permian or Triassic period.
Are there other people out there who would enjoy having these creatures in the Game?

The reason I'm asking is that:
  • In the upcoming movie, Jurassic World Dominion will already non-dinosaur animals named Lystrosaurus and Dimetrodon
  • The Jurassic World Franchise has already included some non-dinosaur animals to fans. Such as in the mobile app Jurassic World Alive along with action figures by Hasbro, Kenner and Mattel
  • It has already been confirmed that Coelophysis will be in Jurassic Evolution 2. Why not include other animals who lived along side Coelophysis, Dimetrodon, and Lystrosaurus?
It will be nice to have Permian and Triassic Era animals available in future developments for Jurassic World Evolution 2 Wouldn't it? What do you guys think? Would you like to see a DLC like this?
Thank You So Much Frontier for making this Masterpiece of a Game for us Dinosaur Fans!!!

This would be cool, but I don't think it's likely to happen. I think they are going to keep the roster Triassic - Cretaceous. Even limiting the roster to Mesozoic species only, there are just so many species to choose from to add to the game. Even with the 80+ dinosaurs which are in JWE 1 and confirmed for JWE 2, which is a lot, there are whole groups of dinosaurs which are still unrepresented like prosauropods, therizinosaurs, oviraptorosaurs, etc.

They might introduce Lystrosaurus once Dominion comes out, but maybe not. Right now all of the terrestrial species in the game are referred to as dinosaurs (because they are all dinosaurs). They would have to change that if they introduce Lystrosaurus. Of course, I've also heard that Dimetrodon might be in Dominion. If it is and they add it to JWE 2, then that would open up the Permian period for more species later.

If the Dominion DLC contains Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus. Do you think Frontier will make a DLC then? Thanks for the reply. I do have one more question since I'm new to the Forum.

If JW Dominion features Lystrosaurus and Dimetrodon, I'd be surprised if they don't eventually make it into JWE 2. If Lystrosaurus and Dimetrodon are added in a Dominion DLC in June 2022, then yeah that totally opens up the possibility of more Permian/early Triassic species being added in the months after that. Probably Inostrancevia, Edaphosaurus, and Scutosaurus, if I had to guess.

It's a safe bet that all of the dinosaurs and reptiles and synapsids introduced in Dominion will be in the game. They'll do what they did with Fallen Kingdom and have a Dominion pack with all of them in it after the film releases. As for other DLC, that's where it gets iffy. I can see Edaphosaurus as a contender, being a large herbivorous sail-backed reptile to complement Dimetrodon. A gorgonopsid would be a surprise. But they would likely take a back seat to more marine and flying reptiles and dinosaurs like Plateosaurus.

I hope to see an expansion pack in the future, with Dimetrodon, Lystrosaurus, tanystropheus, scutosaurus, moshops, any gorgonopsid among others I forgot.

How about a separate DLC including Non-Dinosaurian Reptile from the Triassic such as Desmatosuchus, Placerias and Postosuchus? I just personally find it a little strange having Triassic dinosaurs such as Coelophysis and Herrerasaurus and not including these other creatures who coexisted with them. What do you guys think? Is this something Frontier would do?

Question its a long shot but does frontier look at these forums for input?

I think they do, but if they again don't put in dinosaurs like Protoceratops, Therizinosaurus and Psittacosaurus, I think they don't find our dinosaur-opinions very interesting.

My Wishlist and if I had to guess if Frontier did make a DLC after Dominion's release it would contain these species and the reasons as to why these creatures would be great additions to JWE2. What do you guys think? Do you think Frontier would consider this after the Jurassic World Dominion DLC comes out?

Permian DLC (Due to Dimetrodon and Lystrosaurus being added in the Dominion DLC)

Edaphosaurus (Because of its similarity to it's relative Dimetrodon)

Estemmenosuchus (Because of it's distinct facial armor)

Euchambersia or Therocephalian (Euchambersia would be an interesting addition for its poisonous bite. One ability Euchambersia could have in JWE2 is delivering multiple venomous bites gradual over time slowly killing its prey over time)

Inostrancevia (Because of it's fame, iconic Sabre-Teeth and unique mammalian appearance)

Scutosaurus (Because of it's fame, bony armor and for appearing in several Jurassic Park/World merchandise such as toys and mobile game Jurassic World Alive)

Triassic DLC (Due to Lystrosaurus being added in the Dominion DLC. Along with the fact that many of these creatures lived along side the very first dinosaurs)

Postosuchus or another type of Rauisuchid (Because the Rauisuchids were a formidable competitor for dominance who co-existed with many Triassic Dinosaurs. Along with there appearances in media. Most famously Postosuchus in Walking with Dinosaurs.)

Placerias or Kannemeyeria (Because of it's large size. Its a Dicynodont like Lystrosaurus. Also Placerias co-existed with Coelophysis. Also Placerias is one of the most well known large herbivores of the Triassic.)

Desmatosuchus (Because of it's unique appearance and that it co-existed with Coelophysis)

Plateosaurus (It's a Dinosaur however Plateosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs of the Triassic. Also Plateosaurus is one of the most well known herbivore Dinosaurs of the Triassic.)

would love to see a Protoceratops that could fight a Velociraptor like the infamous Fighting Dragons fossil. Do you think Frontier would make that
