I have a Cobra with B4 shields, in a conflict zone, another player in a Vulture took out my shields in what seemed like a single shot. What the heck could they have hit me with? It was like I never had a chance.... My experience with my setup is that it takes a bit more to knock down the B4's.
Perplexed: Sheilds gone in what seemed like one shot.

Could have been plasma I guess. The only other time I was hit like that it was a cmdr pirate named something like blasterman.

Oh yeah, forgot about plasma accelerator
Both use ammunition though and they don't carry huge amounts. Good for PvP, not for PvE since you have to pause grinding quite often to refill ammunition.
