Persistant navigation destinations?

Is there a reason that a plotted course doesn't persist between sessions?

Would that be a bad idea and I just haven't yet thought of a reason why? :)

Just count your blessings that we're not plotting our courses by hand anymore.

EDIT: but yeah, seems like this should be a thing.

Indeed, before I learned there were several online course plotters... I still use https://cmdr.club/ at work...I would pick a point in the sky and after every jump, I would cycle through my available destinations until there was one that was close to my target.

I still have notebooks with routes listed between common points of interest...

It was the freaking dark ages compared to now
