So I set out in OC to find the perfect spot for a beautiful sunrise.
First location was not quite right, so back up into OC for another try.
Set the ships down, launches the SRV, and heads for a nearby hill, the star was just peeking over the horizon.
Waited, waited and then waited a bit more, thought this planet must have a rather slow rotation. So went to check stats in system map

Turned out the planet was tidally locked :(

Approaching landing pad on surface, was going a bit fast together with the drag the clipper has, i hit the ground with my belly just before landing on the pad. Everything was fine a bit shield dama...what the hell was that explosion...why the hell am i being shot at...argh my shield are now gone....missiles approaching... hull damage and blasted....

Looks like i squashed a "bug/skimmer" with my hit on the ground, the inhabitants didnt like that at all :D
