Personal Log: CMDR Calciifer.

StarDate-273302/18:00

Personal log, entry 1.
"I have embarked upon my first exploration mission with a purpose. My hold is filled to maximum with
Meta-Alloys and I'll be donating them to the cause of the station in need. It seems Jaques is a bit off
course, both mechanically and astronomically. I'm hoping my large contribution of MA's will help the
station while I search the nearby nebulae for more resources.

This is CMDR Cal, signing off."

Personal log, entry 2.
"I've made it to the first rendezvous point, which humorously was spelt incorrectly on the news. Synufai pi-i c26-8, is actually spelt Synuefai pi-i c26-8. I am here alone. parked on the first planet of the third star. There is a double
crater. I hope to see some fellow explorers soon.

CMDR Cal, Out."

(If you'd like me to keep posting my progress with a log now, I'd like the feedback. This game got lonely after 2 years. Who agrees?)

Hello!

If you want to continue your log in public, have a think about how you can make it interesting and compelling for the public to read.

For example; you're taking Meta-Alloys to Jaques - why? What are your personal motivations to do this? Purely for the reward? Or do you have an affinity for brave, intrepid explorers and you genuinely want to help him? Is there a backstory to explain these motivations?

Think about taking your logs beyond what you do in the game. We all plot courses, dock at stations, fly in supercruise etc, there's nothing new there. Unique characters, their motivations and interactions are what makes things interesting and keeps people coming back to find out what happens next!

I can't agree with game being lonely as I'm part of an active player group, carving out our own piece of the universe!
I also enjoy the company of a small community of other writers. PM me or lookup the Inara Writer's Guild if you're interested in getting involved.

I hope this helps you and others who would like to get into writing logs :)
