Personal Stations or Planet Landings?

So the hints of the first expansions is to be able to get out of your ship, either in a space station, planet or both.

However, my ship that has land surveying gear is 200 light years from my current location because I dont have a personal station to change out gear or store ships. I think personal stations is really important for us to actually explore the billions of systems

You can store ships in any station out there with a shipyard.
