Not to start comparisons between ED and Eve, (there is no comparison
), but there are a few things that Eve got right, so bear with me for a second.
Right now, you can only have one ship. I realize that will change.
#1. But what about your personal items that you may not want to sell?
Will there be storage in stations for such items? Even if a rental charge is required, that has to be a must. And what about containers to sort and organize these items.
Certainly you can’t be required to immediately sell an item due to no storage. I hope this just hasn’t yet been incorporated into the game.
#2. And what about icons used for these items? Right now trading consists of basically a spread sheet with names and numbers in black and white. How boring is that.
So I think what Eve did right, was to at least give you a sense of “owning” a real item or product, whether it be a mined piece of rock or a load of missiles, you could at least see a picture of your possessions and I think it adds a great amount of feel to the game.
So will ED have more than a boring black and white spreadsheet list of your possessions, or some sort of icon that you can actually see?
Respectfully,
Clyde Toris
