Personalised Carrier ID's for ARX

As title, I'd pay to change the carrier ID to something that actually means something for me.

You mean the unique code bit of the ID that presumably lets FDev move these mobile stations around to a new location, not the name we can already change when we want.

When I transferred from my playstation account, the instruction was to sell the carrier as it represented a permanent asset that couldn't be transferred between accounts. Makes me think the ID number is account specific.

I suppose this could be tested by selling a carrier and then buying a new one to see if the number changes.

Turns out it isn't - somebody already came across a duplicate. But maybe it's supposed to be unique and that was just a bug.

The carrier ID is linked to your account (not even CMDR). My FC ID stayed the same after a wipe. It only changed once, when they patched something early on (a few months post release iirc) but that was server side.
