The old penetrate space station through the mail slot entrance is so 1980s. It was fun to fly through the mail slot on Apple II back in 1986 but where's the 30 years of progress. The Champion of Piety station at Crucis Sector EQ-Y B4 had a large open landing pad, so why not all space stations offer the same outside large landing pad.
I had to pay over $50 million on rebuy with my Anaconda for kept getting exploded while exiting. My Anaconda became "hot ship" when I kept hitting the exit, and the space station blew up my Anaconda. I couldn't use a smaller ship to pay the bounty on an interstellar faction station without a large landing pad, so I had to find an interstellar faction space station with a large pad.
