I understand we can take part to the CG without it: I reached the top 50% by using mining lasers and the old mining mechanics so yes it's definitely possible to take part to the activity.... IN THE MOST BORING WAY THOUGH!

Now that I have a good reason to stop by and perform some mining for some other days I would really like to enjoy the new mining tools.
So I don't see any good reason, gameplay wise, not to have this scanner at the mining base outfitting.

Please FDEV add the Pulswave Scanner to Omega Mining Operations!

Worth saying that it isn't really necessary for the CG.
Fun to find rocks to blow up but there are plenty of nearby systems that will net you a lot of resources as is.
Still yes, a frustrating oversight that has already been corrected.
