Philae Station - Can We Honour Probe Landing

I find it sad that this hasn't gotten more media attention, especially here in the States. I was reading about it last night while flying around trading, and thinking about how momentous such achievements should be to everyone on the planet.

I'd love to see a Station/outpost pair named Rosetta and Philae.

We had people phoning into radio stations congratulating NASA, so don't worry too much about it!
(It's ESA's mission, not NASA's).

6pm Headline News item in the UK, loving the coverage!

oh and +1 to the OP!

Here we have the science fiction/science line getting thinner...
It's one of the few things as a race, we should celebrate!

Great idea! The station should be in Sol and somewhere between Mars and Venus. ;) Last thing I heard the mission wasn't quite as successful as they had hoped. The probe didn't "grab" the comet very well or something and data streams are being interrupted occasionally. :( Bad luck I guess.
