Hi dear Commanders!
As an enthusiastic stamp collector I couldn't resist to make a stamp version of my recent retro style sci-fi poster featured our dear Cmdr David Braben, inspired by the old Soviet cosmonaut stamps. The illustration is vector-based (I used a vintage Corel Draw 12), so it can be enlarged infinitely. The text, the denomination and the perforation was made with Photoshop. It's brown-purple pair has been made after somebody mentioned in Reddit that the illustration is lack of his essential mug, so I made a complement for the original one just for fun. The two pieces are strictly valid only together!
Here comes my request:
A fellow commander did come up with the mindblowing idea for a full set of stamps which portrayed David in various situations (of course in the Elite Universe). I'd like to collect ideas for this project from the community. Here is a really great example from Cmdr handsomeAniki:
"Braben in a officer's uniform with mug in hand looking over a hanger with some ship docked. or even standing in the foreground looking stern, ship and hanger in background."
Of course they will be available as high resolution propaganda posters too.
