Photography mode

What are your thought on having a "Photography Mode" on Planet Coaster?

Where it allows you to take photo's in first person and the graphics are stepped up a little for photo mode only?

There's many games of now days that has this exact creation, specifically racing games. To have it in Planet Coaster would change the whole landscape of art in Planet Coaster, showing your creations ect.

Pause the game, change the graphics, hide the GUI and use the controller to move to the perfect spot. And... create screenshot. No need for a "Photography Mode" with useless filters... [big grin]

Useless filters?

With a photography mode, it allows the photos to render to realistic high quality looking shots. Taking a screenshot, well.. looks a bit arcade and flushed if you ask me. I mean, what better way besides videos to show off your work in full HD.

I would definitely love to see such a feature. Not for silly filters of course, but for performance. Imagine the game rendering at acceptable framerates in normal/ low mode while you position the camera and wait for the perfect moment, and when it is time to actually take the shot: The game renders in full view distance, with super intensive anti-aliasing, higher resolution than your monitor supports, hi-def shadows and whatnot. Just for the single frame or the duration of the flyby/ onride. Of course this amount of detail cannot be rendered at 60, 30 or perhaps even 1 fps, but that doesn't matter at that moment.

I know NoLimits 2 has this feature for so-called "Poster-sized" screenshots. The game can output a screenshot in a ridiculously large resolution and upscales the LOD distance for the screenshot or video.
