I would like to purchase an "I backed Elite: Dangerous" bumper sticker for my real world vehicle

etc etc

It would go a way to promote the game and raise awareness...:D

Like the idea - I never thought about it before, but i have a Vauxhall Insignia... Elite edition! I guess i would just need sticker which says dangerous!

there has been mention of mugs, hats, t'shirts and other stuff, maybe nearer the release date - dont want to put out too much that advertises the game yet as people will be disappointed when they find out how long they have to wait.

once the game is out those same people having previously inquired will go 'oh yea, i wonder if that's out yet' then promptly forget about it until the next time they see it.

not a lack of commercial awareness, more a deeper understanding of the mechanics of it

well, 16 backers pleadged £1500 to 'Be a “Commander Jameson” - have a reserved commander name* xxxx Jameson (eg Commander Peter Jameson etc) – first come first served on the forenames'

and another 7 pledged 3 grand to have a FRONTIER star system named after them, not a core system; out on the edge of known space.

thats not including the 100 backers at £750 that Have a planet named* after them and the 113 that got a space station for 500

USA 12: UK 236 and its a landslide victory for the boys from FD!

This from the geezer who made banners for half the forum that look very bumperish and more than a little sticky :S

"We don't break for Thargoids"? :D I don't know... I really don't think I would like to have bumper stickers on my ship. Besides, the things would have to be HUGE to be seen at all. It would feel artificial, I think.
