Physical Multicrew in Odyssey

Hello,

I would like to physical multicrew with a friend.

Q: Can I invite the friend to do this while I am in Solo game play? We are both at the same station and the ship has 2 seats. Or do I need to setup a private group where we both join and then send the invite to multicrew. Again, only looking to do physical multicrew so we can disembark, multicrew the SRV while doing exobiology.

Can't be done in Solo; that's just you. You'll need to be in Open or Private Group. If you want them in person it's a Team invite, multi-crew refers to virtual representation. Team mechanics are a bit dicey, good luck with it.

if you want just the two of you then create a private group server and invite him
if you dont mind anyone elses whos around showing up multi crew up in the open server( pvp inc)
the solo server is always just you alone and is PVE only
