Hey, i am now using this as an explorers log, which i will post in with random intervals.
Here's a complete list of logs available with the click of a button.

Anyways, here is the original post ;
Story ;
Long ago in a galaxy, well our galaxy actually, a Lonely explorer found this nebula, in the outer rims of the galaxy ;
(image by Eldrazzi)
The Commander didn't have a sufficient jumprange to get there, however i had.
I asked for the name and he gave me it (Thread ; https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=107994)
I then set up my Anaconda for the journey...
... then i gave up after 2500LY because i was such a noob and the route planner was so bad at the time.
However ; It did not stop me from exploration, and now, weeks later i have finally done it.
My journey
My journey started at TSU, where i had already submitted 181 reports for the ongoing Alliance Exploration Programme.
From there i followed [REDACTED UNTIL I GET CONFIRMATION THAT IT IS OKAY THAT I USE HIS NAME] some 1500 LY into the outer galaxy, from there, he went off and i Decided to start my Journey to Dryuae Aip Gi-b D13-0
Here's a picture showing my journey with some inaccuracy ;
Click me
(Sorry for my crap paint editing, first time I've ever used it)
On my way i saw exciting things, most notably ; My first and second undiscovered Earthlike Planets!

First one
(If you cant see the image ; click this link)
Second one
After some time i got within 1000LY of the nebula, but due to the lack of stars, it took me half an hour longer than usual to get to it.
When i got to the Nebula, i was stunned, it looked amazing, like no other nebula have ever done.

Well, when i opened the system map, i was somewhat dissapointed.
The system was already claimed, by none other than the Nebulas discoverer.
He made it somehow, which was great for him and even though i was not the first discoverer of the lone neutron star of the nebula, i congratulate him on being one of the only people to have claimed an ENTIRE nebula for themself. Good work man
So i started my trip back home, i found an Earthlike 100 LY away from the Nebula which was nice.
My plan for going home was to use neutron stars as waypoints ; I would simply plot a route to one, get there, scan it, plot a route to the next one, and it would slowly take me home.
So i was doing this, when i suddenly noticed the neutron star was very weird.
I exited the comms panel that i had opened (because social reasons)
and targeted it.
It was no neutron star..
I immidiently saw what it was... A BLACK HOLE!
And it was undiscovered!
What luck!
After what seemed like half an hour, i was done playing with the lensing effect, and moved on.
On my way home i found a Herbig Ae/Be Proto star, which i assume is very rare since all Proto stars except that one have been those annoying T-Tauri stars.

The Star in the background is a T-tauri star.
After speed running the last 2000LY, i was finally back at TSU, where i sold all my data.
Summary ;
Distance traveled ; ~ 21000 LY
Systems visited ; 760!
Profit made ; 7.939.099 CR!
Neutron Stars First Discovered ; 16
Black holes first discovered ; 1
Herbig Ae/Be stars first discovered ; 1
Terraforming candidates first discovered ; Atleast 30+
Earthlikes first discovered ; 3
T-tauri stars encountered ; Way too many.
Badlands encountered ; Way too many.
Mission time ; Around 22 hours.
Exploration fun : 8/10 - Would do again
I had much fun on this trip, and it has encouraged me to continue exploring.
My profit made me 2 million away next rankup, which i hope to make in the next couple of days.
I also recommend everyone to go to that Nebula, it may not look so good on my pictures, but i'm running it on low settings here, on high, it has to be the most beautiful place in the galaxy!
I also excuse my grammar, English isn't my native language.
Have a nice day explorers, i hope to see you out there once!
