Picked a side in conflict, but getting no bounty

Hi

So there is a conflict in my "home" system all of a sudden. It's not between the fed and another major power but between one corporate and one dictatorship (both independent). There are lots of conflict zones in the system. At least 5 high and 2 low. I went into three of them and picked the corporate side and took down around 10 ships in total.

All I got when I shot down a ship is a blue triangle where otherwise the bounty reward shows up. And when I went to the station belonging to the faction I picked to ally myself with I got no combat bounty at all. So what the deal?

And there are several checkpoints scattered around the planets where fed navy ships gather and sit sound. What's the point there?

The system I hang around in is NLTT 53690 and the fighting sides are League Movement and Life Ltd

Watching this thread, same questions for me too as just found my 1st conflict / checkpoint areas after moving to a new base.

You get paid for Conflict Zone differently than regular bounties. You have to open the Combat Voucher option under 'Contacts', not the Local Authorities. I hope this solves your trouble.

You will find war zone missions to pickup in those systems
But I feel there not fully functioning war zones because no one attacks you except the ship you attack to get the mission count

Yes I know... I got nothing from the combat voucher. From the vids I've seen you should get a bounty notification when you get a kill just the same as when you kill a wanted. But all I get is a rather large blue triangle.

No war zone missions has popped up in either of the stations belonging to the side in the conflict.

And what about the lingering fed navy at checkpoints?

You maybe find the war zone missions in other systems ne'er buy, I am talking from experience
If you have a mission you get a kill mount towards mission instead of blue triangle, if u want it tough do mission in cap ship instance

I am near a conflict zone and have taken missions and gotten paid out on the contract tab.

Do you have to take missions to get paid out on contract tab ?
Can you just enter, pick a side and collect contracts ?
And what are the checkpoints for with all the vessels just parked there ?
